Tweet Ads Hit the Market

Twitter Ads started today and looks like it will be a play on results similar to Sponsored Listings on Search Engines.  I would have imagine that they will look similar to the following artistic expression mocked up by MOI.

I would say that I would be more prone to click on an Ad while on my laptop vs. a mobile phone.  So that brings up a success metric for Twitter:  Fostering higher click through on mobile phones.

Also, it goes back to the age old need of monetizing social networks.  Will this make a dent?
